For years I have been photographing myself in gear. Not for anyone in particular. My hero Frank Zane took thousands of photos of himself when he was competing in pro bodybuilding in order to understand where his shape, muscularity and look needed improvements in order to win on the global stage.
I have been taking thousands of photos of myself for similar reasons. To craft my own shape and silhouette, but also as a way to explore my interiority and my art. These photos celebrate spandex, one of my favorite canvases for self expression.
